Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments using standardised tools and clinical observations.
- Design and implement therapy programs targeting a range of areas such as articulation, fluency, literacy, AAC, and swallowing disorders.
- Provide individualised intervention for paediatric and/or adult clients in both clinic and community settings.
- Prepare clear, goal-focused reports and therapy plans aligned with NDIS goals and client priorities.
- Collaborate with educators, support workers, allied health professionals, and family members to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.
- Monitor and document client progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly.
- Educate clients, families, and educators about communication disorders and strategies to support skill development.
- Participate in clinical meetings, supervision, and continuous professional development.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Speech Pathology
- CPSP membership (SPA)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Paediatric, AAC or dysphagia experience advantageous
Pay and Benefits
- New grad: $75,000 – $85,000 + Super + bonuses
- Experienced: $90,000 – $110,000 + KPI incentives
- Senior: Up to $125,000 + Super + mentorship responsibilities
