Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments using standard diagnostic tools and interviews to identify emotional, cognitive, and behavioural concerns.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilising evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, or trauma-informed approaches.
- Formulate personalised treatment plans aligned with client goals and mental health needs.
- Prepare accurate documentation including assessment summaries, progress reports, and intervention plans in accordance with NDIS or Medicare standards.
- Collaborate with allied health professionals and external stakeholders (e.g. GPs, case managers, schools) to support client outcomes.
- Deliver psychoeducation to clients, families, and carers to improve understanding of mental health and coping strategies.
- Participate in team meetings and reflective practice to ensure ongoing professional growth.
- Support capacity building of clients and promote resilience and well-being through targeted interventions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Full AHPRA registration
- Strong interpersonal and therapeutic skills
- NDIS, paediatric, or trauma experience (preferred)
- Clinical endorsement for senior roles
